Description of Service
Notara is an AI-powered operations agent that integrates with Slack and third-party services to automate business operations. The Service includes the Slack application, web dashboard, integrations, scheduled tasks, and persistent memory features.
User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Organizational accounts are managed by the workspace administrator who authorized the Slack installation. The administrator is responsible for managing team member access and integration permissions.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Send unsolicited communications, spam, or phishing messages through Notara's email capabilities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, workspaces, or data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Use the Service to process, store, or transmit data that violates applicable data protection regulations.
- Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated or programmatic means.
Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.
Credit-based usage is governed by your plan tier. When credits are exhausted, the agent pauses until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. You will never be charged overage fees without explicit consent.
Annual plans are eligible for prorated refunds for unused months upon cancellation.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Notara and protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Service.
You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant Notara a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Your data and integrations are preserved for 30 days after cancellation.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. In cases of severe abuse, we may terminate immediately.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
